You can add on additional hair styling services at a later date but you cannot cancel those you have already booked. I suggest that you do not include guests in your inquiry if they have not yet confirmed. You may adjust the ‘getting ready’ time as long as the start time is after 6.30 AM.
On average, brides require 1.5 hrs and bridesmaids/guests 45 to 1 hr and moms require 45 mins for hairstyling. If bridal party members require hair extensions to be installed, additional time my be required.
My minimum package is the "Intimate package" (bride + 4) and travel fee, applies to bookings on Friday, Saturday from May-October.
A $250 non-refundable and non-transferable retainer amount is required immediately after the contract is signed. This is deducted from the invoice amount.
Clip-in extensions work best for bridal hair styling. I love BFB hair. I provide complementary in-person consultations for colour matching with BFB hair.
A second stylist is included with our "Coveted package" (bride + 6 or more). If you have more than 6 guests, you can add additional hair services for up to a total of 11 before the assistance of a third stylist is required. A second stylist can also be requested for smaller parties of 5-6 for an express service time.
Travel to the Distillery District is complementary. For all other locations driving time is calculated from M5A 3R3 to the getting ready location:
- Downtown Toronto $35
- Up to 30 mins: $65
- Up to 45 mins: $85
- Up to 1 hour: $110
- Up to 1.5 hours: $190
For travel distances 2+ hrs, overnight accommodation is required. Please inquire for more details if this applies to your wedding location.
Yes. All bookings must start from 6.30 a.m. onwards. If the start time changes in the lead up to the wedding and an earlier start is required the below fees are applicable:
- 6:00 a.m. - $100
- 5:30 a.m. - $150
- 5:00 a.m. - $200

Additional information about the bridal preview
No. You may only have a bridal trial if you have booked and paid a retainer.
I recommend the bridal preview is performed 3 to 4 months from the wedding date for the most consistent results.
All previews are held in-studio located at: 783 Queen Street west at Hair by Banks.
We respectively ask that the person having the preview bring only one guest.
Plan to spend about 2 hours at your preview.
If you would like to try out two looks, please get in touch with me so we can arrange for additional time. As it takes more time, it will cost extra.
Bridal previews are exclusively for brides. I am not able to extend this service to other members of the bridal party.
